Goetting & Associates provided engineering design and consulting services related to the Central plant replacement of chillers at the University of Houston, Main Campus. Services performed included, but not be limited to, preparing design documents for replacement of two chillers, including drawings and specifications, budgets, and schedules, under the direction of the University of Houston System FP&C personnel.

Scope included the replacement of one 4,500 ton chiller with one 5,000 ton chiller, replacement of one 4,500ton steam-driven chiller with two 2,500ton electric drive chillers, determination of requirements for upgrading the associated chilled water pumps, condenser water pumps and cooling towers, providing of new electrical service necessary for the new chillers, and providing of new controls for the chillers replaced and integrating these with the existing Plant control system.
