SBC Center/San Antonio Spurs Arena

New fast-track design consisting of five-story $6.5 million scoreboard and video display and a 972-foot-long, 2.5-foot-tall visual LED display encircling the arena's perimeter. Goetting and Associates provided MEP design system services. The fire sprinkler system serves the entire open bowl area. The facility's central cooling and heating plants consisting of 2850 tons of refrigeration and 28000 MBH of hydronic heating with over 600 hp of pumping capacity. A 1600 KVA diesel generator backs up life safety, smoke evacuation and sound reinforcement systems.
University of the Incarnate Word Natatorium and Athletic Offices

The UIW Natatorium is 24,500 sf and is designed for competition. It includes a 25 yd X 25 m, 440,000 gallon pool combination with dive tank and 10 m board, seating, showers, dressing rooms with lockers and athletic offices.
Palo Alto College Gymnasium and Natatorium

This 76,000 sf Natatorium has an Olympic pool, separate diving pool, and seating for 2,000 people. Also, the Gymnasium with basketball / volley ball court has shower rooms, lockers, offices, a weight room and aerobics room. Approximate seating area is 8,000 people.
Texas Military Institute Natatorium & Gymnasiums

The Natatorium spans 59,000 sf and two gymnasiums included racquetball courts, rifle ranges, offices, lockers and showers located in basement. The Central plant for entire campus is also located in the basement. Also for this owner, stage lighting, dimming, and air conditioning of a new 3,500 sf, 300 seat auditorium was designed.

Northside Independent School District Baseball / Softball Complex
San Antonio, TX
This NISD Baseball and Softball Complex will be located at the Hardin Athletic Complex site at Culebra Road and Loop 410 in San Antonio. Goetting & Associates is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and telecommunications design services for this project.
North East Independent School District Softball Complex
San Antonio, TX
The Complex includes two high school level softball fields. Each field has concession areas, announcer area and restroom facilities. Two additional features were designed: Lights with overlapping coverages were put on different electrical phases to minimize the strobing effect on a moving object; and field lights were divided into two control groups: Level 1 and Level 2. Level 1 lighting turned on only those fixtures necessary for safety, team warm-up, and spectator seating. Level 2 lighting turned on those additional fixtures required for tournament play. After the development of these additional designs for NEISD, another school district, Northside ISD obtained permission to site-adapt the design for use in their district.

Retama Park
Selma, Texas
Retama Park is one of the nation's finest horse racing facilities, located on two-hundred acres. This major league horse racing center is designed to accommodate up to 20,000 fans. The facility has a 1-1/16 mile oval track and a four-story, 210,000 sf grandstand. Goetting and Associates provided the MEP design system services.
Sea World of Texas

Sea World of Texas is a marine animal theme park. The original campus was designed and under construction in less than one year. Goetting & Associates master planned the MEP utilities for the original campus consisting of more than one hundred structures. (1987)
Six Flags Fiesta Texas Theme Park
San Antonio, Texas
This 192 acre musical theme park was a fast track construction project. Goetting and Associates provided the MEP design system services. The park has three chillers (600 tons) which serve the festhall and three fuel storage tanks, 10,000 gallon unleaded, one 10,000 gallon diesel and one 3,000 gallon waste oil tank.
