DPT Labs at Brooks City Base

This project consists of a 225,000 sf warehousing and office building and a 30,000 sf research and development facility. The research and development facility incorporates 3 different lab functions to include Bio-Pharmaceutical, Analytical Chemistry. Lab gases, pressurization and exhaust systems were carefully designed to meet FDA standards.
Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research Virology & Immunology Laboratory Complex and BSL-4 Lab

The 35,000 sf, single-story biomedical research laboratory complex ranks in the top facilities capable of studying emerging and deadly infectious diseases. The complex includes a Bio-Safety Level 4 (BSL-4) containment lab, which is the fourth of its kind in the United States. Our firm performed mechanical, electrical and plumbing commissioning for the BSL-3 and BSL-4 laboratories.
Texas Department of Health Multipurpose Laboratory Facility

This project was a 286,817 sf, seven-story multipurpose laboratory facility. It includes BSL-3 laboratories equipped for research involving hazardous agents, and general laboratory space to support the monitoring and investigation of infectious and transmittable diseases.

This new three story, 52,465 sf, Biomedical Research Laboratory will house three animal tissue research laboratories, one bio-hazard research laboratory, one radio pharmacy, three data laboratories, two organ harvest rooms and an animal holding area on two floors.

University of Texas Health Science Center Investigation into the Nature and Causes of Unit Substation Surge Arrestor Failures
San Antonio, TX
Goetting & Associates was retained to determine the cause of explosive failures of surge arrestors at the campus' power substations. The resulting tripping of substation circuit breakers were causing campus wide power blackouts. Goetting & Associates located the condition on the campus power system that caused surge arrestors to fail and provided a solution that added additional tolerance and reliability to the existing campus power distribution system.
